
The House of Representatives Committee on Information Broadcasting, Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with Internews and with the support of USAID, the Swedish Embassy, and the EU Mission to Liberia, is pleased to announce a one-day roundtable dialogue on media law reforms in Liberia.
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Capitol Building House first floor Conference Room.
According to the Chairman of the Committee Hon. Bernard Blue Benson Jr., the legislative meeting will focus on the critical issue of media law reforms, specifically the proposed bill to establish the Community Radio Sustainability Act.
He averred that the roundtable aims to foster a comprehensive discussion on the challenges and opportunities surrounding community radio sustainability and the broader implications for media freedom and development in Liberia.
