-For reportedly raping a 14-year-old girl

NIMBA COUNTY — Report says a man identified as William S. Meazoe is wanted for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.
William S. Meazoe, Jr.,43, is reportedly on the run for allegedly raping a teenager in Dahnlorpa Community, Sanniquellie City, Nimba County.
The man subsequently absconded after allegedly raping the 14-year-old girl causing her severed bleeding as she go at the point of death, according to sources in Dahnlorpa Community on Thursday.
The 14-year-old victim is currently admitted, seeking treatment at the G.W. Harley Hospital in Sanniquellie, Nimba County District #2.
Families of the victim told our correspondent that the incident happened on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, when William S Meazoe, Jr. abused the girl inside a family bathroom where she had to take her bath and raped her there.
According to family sources, the accused later fled the spot threatening the victim with dire consequences if she told anyone.
Reports take it that the victim is the niece of the accused’s girlfriend.
Based on the allegation, our correspondent contacted the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection sub-office in Sanniquellie, Nimba County Coordinator, Madam Yah Belleh Suah to authenticate the information, which she said is true and correct.
Madam, Suah noted that her office is aware of the information surrounding the 43-year-old man raping a teenager in the Dahnlorpa Community.
She further that the victim is admitted at the G.W. Harley Hospital in a critical condition, adding that anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the police.
