-To support children with special needs and physically challenge

The Children Educational and Developmental Support Center (CEDS-Liberia), a non-profit humanitarian organization over the weekend signed three separate Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to fully support children with special needs and physical challenges in Liberia.
The three separate MoUs were signed between the James Davies Memorial Hospital in Paynesville and the parents of the children with special needs and physical challenges.
During the signing ceremony which was held at the James Davies Memorial Hospital, brought together several special needs children and parents who expressed excitement through tears of joy.
CEDS-Liberia County Coordinator, Mr. Harris S. Kpardeh signed on behalf of the Institution while the Chief Administrator of the James N. David Hospital signed for the Institution and abandoned kinds.
Also, Ms. Vasica Tamba and Mr. Romeo V. S Allison signed on behalf of the four children.
Remarking during the signing ceremony and providing overviews of CEDS-Liberia activities in Liberia, Mr. Harris S. Kpardeh, Country Coordinator said that they are excited to sign an MoU committing to providing for the need and service of Children with special needs in Liberia.
According to him, this is due to the Chief Executive Officer and his wife, Mr. Alexis T. Worgi based in the United States to help buttress the government efforts in helping physically challenged and underprivileged children with special needs.
” We are grateful for this MoU. In this agreement, we are going to be providing the basic livelihood needs for these kids while the Hospital provides the medical service and the hosting of them. This brings the average to fifteen children that we have signed MoU for and taking care of excluding the over hundreds that we are taking care of at this facility and others” he concluded.
For his part, the Chief Administrator of the James David Memorial Hospital, Mr. Meshach G. Karmo expressed excitement and appreciation, while describing it as a burden relief.
He noted that since the coming of CEDS-Liberia to their facility, there have been lots of improvements when it comes to the needs of children with special needs and physical challenges.
” We are grateful for this MoU. Currently, this facility has over fifty children who are physically challenged. Among them, we have less them four who parts come while the rest are here abonden. But, with the help of God and CEDS-LIBERIA, they have been very instrumental in helping with those children’s feeding and assorted material ” he noted.
Also speaking, Ms. Vasica Tamba described the signing ceremony as unbelievable while offering prayers for partnership and assistance to the CEO and the foundation to do more.
” We are happy for this. I lose hope to admit. I never thought that my child could be loved again and accepted in society. When I see the CEDS family coming to our kids smiling with them and providing for them, it gives me hope. I want to thank them because now many people will do this. Finally, I want others to help them so that they can continue to be a blessing to us” she concluded
