SACLEPEA CITY, NIMBA CO. — Parents of ailing 2-year-6-months old boy are rallying the Government of Liberia, philanthropists, and humanitarians support for their son who is battling an aggressive skin disease ‘fungal infection’.
Mark Tamba Joe, born December 25, 2021 is suffering from a skin fungi encountered about six months ago.
Skin fungi live in the top layer of skin cells in moist areas of the body, such as between the toes or in the groin and diaper area. Sometimes, the normal balances that keep fungi in check are upset, resulting in an infection.
Little Mark Tamba Joe’s fungal infections have penetrate deeper inside his body and cause his skin itching, swelling, and blistering.
In his case, the fungal infections had cause reactions elsewhere on the body, developing a rash on the fingers, hands and foot associated with the infections.
Notebly, there are many types of fungal skin infections that require clinical care by a physician or other healthcare professional, but the case with little Mark Tamba Joe has not established after several checkups at clinics and hospitals in Bahn and Saclepea Cities.
Speaking on the ailing condition, the child’s father, Jeremiah Fayiah Joe rallied the Government of Liberia, philanthropists, and humanitarians support to safe his beloved son’s life.
According to him, within six months he has spent over Hundreds of United States Dollars to meet the child’s healthcare delivery but to no avail.
“My son is not in good health condition. We have passed with him to several clinics and hospitals, but no improvement. The little finance I have had finished” Mr. Joe stated.
He however wants a swift medical treatment, calling on the national government, philanthropists and humanitarians to aid him through interventions, stressing that all he had have gone.
“I am kindly requesting every individual including the national government, philanthropists and humanitarians to come for my rescue. ….I don’t want my son to die” said ailing child’s father.
He added that doctors confirmed that the child is free from Mpox and his current condition is too far from the signs and symptoms of Monkey Pox.
