On October 20, 2024, World of Life International (WLI) honored 103-year-old Mary Kpah, a female beneficiary who has been part of the organization’s aging charity initiative since its inception. Despite her age, Mary is in good health and represents the many individuals WLI supports, particularly those aged 60 and above, as the organization celebrates its second anniversary.

WLI is a nonprofit organization established on October 20, 2022. Its mission, “Reaching the Unreached,” aims to identify and assist individuals facing challenges related to food, health, and counseling. The organization’s vision is to connect people with resources to restore community pride and encourage self-reliance.

Rebecca Nyomndo, the acting focal person for WLI, emphasized the importance of this initiative in making a positive impact within the community. “It is essential for us to ensure that this program is recognized across the continent,” she said.

Nyomndo expressed her pride in serving as a representative for WLI since its founding. “It is indeed a great honor to serve as an agent for World of Life International since October 20, 2022, and to assist aging individuals in our community,” she stated.

Since its launch in 2022, WLI has initiated numerous activities, including health check-ups, the most recent of which took place in April 2024. The organization began with 30 beneficiaries and has since expanded to 35 beneficiaries in Liberia.

Nyomndo also acknowledged the loss of some beneficiaries over the years. “We extend our condolences to the families of those who have passed away since the program’s inception,” she said. “We are grateful for the grace of God that allows those aged 60 and above to continue living and thriving.”

She encouraged all beneficiaries to pray for continued blessings and wisdom as they navigate their journeys. “Let us continue to support one another and strive for a better future,” she concluded.
