NIMBA COUNTY — Amb. Ruth Y. Guanue, a pride of NimbaCounty is soaring through the ranks of the Lonestar Cell MTN Y’ello Star Season 4 Singing Competition.
The young musical icon’s soulful voice may have earned her a spot at the MTN Liberia Y’ello Star Singing Competition among several contestants. It’s already an inspiring joy at home in Nimba County where prominent sons and daughters including the County’s Superintendent, Kou Meapeh Gono have rallied citizens’ support.
Representing Nimba County in the next stage of the prestigious Lonestar Cell MTN musical competition, Ruth is not just a contestant but a shining star, a young lady filled with incredible talent and aspiration. The Lonestar Cell MTN Y’ello Star Singing Competition is an annual event aimed at discovering and showcasing the best hiding musical talents across Liberia.
The winner is awarded a NEW Nissan Almera, has their songs uploaded on the CBRT platform, and receives a 1.5 million LRD record deal along with 350,000 LRD. In addition, the winner is awarded a one-year performance deal with Lonestar Cell MTN and 100 GB of data monthly. This year’s theme, “Your Stage, Your Story,” embodies the spirit of self-expression, creativity, and empowerment, encouraging participants to tell their unique stories through music.
Amb. Ruth Y. Guanue’s unmistakable boos started to get to fans, friends, loved ones, and family members waiting backstage in her home county, Nimba as she displaced her unique God-given talents in music. The stage, Lonestar Cell MTN musical competition is the biggest yet for Ruth, with a voice described as “God gifted.” She is part of a lineup of finales rallying support through votes to become a winner.
However, while her voice captivates the audience, she needs support to truly take her talent to the heights she deserves.
