Ambassador Yin stated.

The Chinese diplomat made the revelation at the Chinese Embassy near Monrovia on Thursday, November 14, 2024, during a donation to the MCSS.

At the donation, which was held under the theme “Supporting Monrovia Public School,” the Ambassador asserted that

Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS), which is responsible for 25 public schools in the capital city of Monrovia, serving 25,000 students and 750 teachers, plays an important role in the execution of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).

We hope that the support will deepen the friendship between China and Liberia. China and Liberia are good friends and partners.”

It can be recalled that the Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, which was held in Beijing, saw the meeting of Chinese President Xi Jinping with President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, at which time the two sides announced the elevation of the China-Liberia relationship to a strategic partnership.

The ambassador asserted that based on the outcome of their meeting of the two heads of state,  in the future, China and Liberia will further strengthen bilateral relations, expand practical cooperation, and promote people-to-people exchanges.

He further added that China stands ready to implement the outcomes of the meeting between the two Presidents and the FOCAC Summit.

“This means that in the future, China and Liberia will further strengthen bilateral relations, expand practical cooperation and promote people-to-people exchanges. China stands ready to implement the outcomes of the meeting between the two Presidents and the FOCAC Summit. Today’s event is a testament.”

Meanwhile, the chairperson of Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) is committed to ensuring that the donated food items and teaching materials are used for the development of early childhood education across public schools.
