- Goes on the Run

A Liberian woman is reportedly on the run following a shocking incident in which she allegedly killed her minor daughter by slitting her throat early Friday morning, January 10, 2025. The tragic event took place in the F-Sham neighborhood of the Soul Clinic community in Paynesville.
Witnesses in the community recounted the harrowing details of the incident. According to the victim’s older sister, their mother had sent her to buy biscuits. Upon her return, she discovered her mother in the act of harming her younger sister. In a state of panic, the older sister ran outside, crying for help.
Unfortunately, by the time neighbors arrived, it was too late—the young girl had already succumbed to her injuries, and the mother had fled the scene. However, some community dwellers said the alleged perpetrator is mentally ill.
Local authorities are currently investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information regarding the mother’s whereabouts to come forward.
