BARCLAY TRAINING CENTER, MONROVIA – The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) and the Inspector General of the Liberia National Police (LNP) visited wounded police personnel Thursday at the John F. Kennedy (JFK) Medical Center and ELWA Hospital. The visit followed an emergency meeting at the Ministry of Justice regarding an unfortunate incident that occurred on February 26, 2025, which left several officers injured.
The high-ranking officials expressed their deep concern for the injured personnel and commended the medical teams for their swift and effective response. During the visit, the Chief of Staff and the Inspector General reassured the wounded officers of their unwavering support and emphasized the importance of their recovery to the nation’s security apparatus.
Medical staff at both hospitals reported that the injured personnel are receiving the necessary care and are responding positively to treatment. The doctors expressed optimism about their recovery, noting that the timely intervention of emergency services played a critical role in stabilizing their conditions.
