Monrovia: The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Zimbabwe on the momentous occasion commemorating Zimbabwe’s Independence Anniversary on April 18, 2025.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, President Boakai extended warmest congratulations to the Government and People of Zimbabwe on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in his own name.
“As you commemorate this historic milestone, we join you and your compatriots in celebrating this auspicious occasion”, President Boakai stated.
The Liberian leader expressed confidence that the bonds of friendship and cooperation so happily subsisting between Liberia and Zimbabwe in the spirit of bilateral ties and cooperation is strengthened in furtherance of the principles of promoting international peace and security among our brotherly countries.
He then pray that the Almighty will endow President Mnangagwa with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to greater heights.
