Opposition Liberian People’s Party (LPP) standard bearer and renowned Human Rights lawyer Cllr. Tiawan Saye Gongloe has released a ten-count manifesto to Liberia’s age-old problems, that has been overwhelmingly embraced by citizens of Bong County.

Cllr. Gongloe over the weekend, dropped his government political manifesto bombshell to the people of the Wolota clan, Kpaai district, Bong County.  

Speaking at the occasion, the presidential aspirant said that his political party manifesto is a bombshell that is intended to Liberate Liberia from the trap of poverty, impunity, bad governance, abuse of power, and unequal distribution of the country’s resources.

“I have ten points political manifesto or agenda for making Liberia better than is it. This will Liberate Liberia from the trap of poverty, greed, and selfishness. However, because of time, I will talk about the basic four that will change Liberia for the better and they are so dear to my heart. This includes education, health, agriculture, corruption, and road connectivity” Cllr. Gongloe pointed out. 

On Saturday, April 8, 2023, the Wolota clan, Kpaai district Bong County was a Center of attraction and a scene of excitement following the arrival of Cllr. Gongole and his entourage in the town.

He was received by the youths, women, elders, and traditional dancers, and they later escorted and marched with Cllr. Gongloe to Wolota for the indoor program. 

The purpose of the program was to officially present Cllr. Gongloe to the people of Wolota clan, Kpaai district Bong County, for onward presentation to the entire Bong County. But, at first, the people needed to know his mission, vision, and agenda for Liberia before they can present him to Bong County as the next president and while makes him the best Presidential candidate in 2023. 

Cllr. Gongloe was given a bowl covered with white clothes, that contained Kola nut, stick, and rice among others. He was rubbed with white chuck.

Howbeit, the presentation was done by the traditional women headed by Madam Mini Koko, who said that the presentation of the Kola nut represented their open-hearted welcome, and love for Cllr. Gongole and his team.

He told the people that in Liberia pregnant, women, children, and many others died from curable diseases only because sometimes there is no drugs at the facility or no money to go to the hospital.

Moreover, Cllr. Gongloe indicated that under his administration, pregnant women, children, and old folks and all of Liberia will go to government health facilities free of change and they will have better health services than private facilities.

“When I became President, government hospitals will be better than private hospitals and clinics. I will do that by going to the health facility myself for treatment and exercising monitoring and evaluation. If there are no drugs, equipment, and other things at the hospital during my surprise visit and we have appropriate that in the budget and the head or whosever is stealing it, I will call the head and fire him and immediately turn him over to the relevant authority for investigation” Cllr. Google assured. 

He believes that if people are in jail for stealing from government hospitals and clinics, nobody will dream of depriving the hospital and the people of their facility, strategies he said will make Liberia’s government hospitals better. 

Also, Cllr. Gongole disclosed as part of his Political agenda for Liberia, he will ensure that every Liberian child will go to school free from kindergarten to twelve grade without their parents doing anything for their schooling.

He indicated that he will also establish free technical and vocational education for Liberian children in order to reduce the unskill workforce in society, something he said is triggered due to the increasing number of motorcycle riders across the country.

” The government will provide all the textbooks, school fees, and everything. That is the free education we will provide. All children will go to school and no child will be left behind. It’s also possible that those children whose parents can’t afford are our scientists and doctors that will invent for us. Under my administration, all Liberians will know how to read and write in two years. That will be done by giving financial stamping to all grand school students who will make sure that they teach at least ten people who are illiterate in their Community” he stated.

Cllr. Gongole noted that under his administration he will make Liberia a corruption-free country by ensuring that every government officials are accountable for their actions and bear the responsibility thereof.

” Under my administration, we will have a more robust corruption fight. People will be sent to jail and punished for their actions. Nobody will go free when they are caught in corruption. We will also ensure that there is road connectivity all across the country to boost the country’s Economy, transportation, and trade” he outlined.

Cllr. Gongole explained that he will make sure that Liberia produces what they eat by ensuring that the government and the country reduce the importation of rice from other countries.

” In Lofa, Grand Kru, Sinoe, River Gee, Maryland, and Gbarpolu are economy counties but very bad in terms of road network connectivity and that is causing huge poverty, poor trading, and death of sick citizens, especially pregnant women. We will solve that problem in our road connectivity road map. We will make sure that there is a Public Work yard in all the counties to have the road maintained” Cllr. Gongole asserted.

Meanwhile, after carefully listening and exerting the political agenda of Cllr. Gongole,  the people of the Wolota clan, Kpaai district, Bong County expressed excitement and joy over the vision, adding that they are not surprised at him.

” This program is the presentation of our son and nephew Cllr. Tiawan Saye Gongloe to the people of Wolota clan, Kpaai district Bong County. You are not stronger here because you grow up here. This is your mother’s home. We will stand by you and with you. With what you have said here today, we will make sure that the entire Bong County surrounds you because we will take you to the people” Jonathan Konkon, Town chief, and  Mr. John Gboe, Chief Elder of the Wolota clan vowed.
