A Liberian clergyman, and senior presiding prelate of Victory Christian Church, says Liberia is in total and extreme delay and it needs a prayerful collective efforts.
Addressing cross-session of gathering in Logan Town, Wednesday, the Liberian prelate pointed out that Liberian needs to rise up and pray for the country because Liberia is delayed outside God’s plan.
The leadership development experts indicated that it’s a fundamental biblical principle that every country and individual has to go through a problem as it was done in the case of the children of Israel but when you overstay in the problems it becomes a serious delay that needs to be addressed.
He pointed out that the Bible talks about weeping enduring for a night and joy comet in the morning but for Liberia problems, he said that it has passed weeping for a night and should now claim the attention of everyone, especially those in political leadership.

Dr. Cummings has written several books and the latest amongst them is his recently published book ” Dexterity” Mastering your craft.
According to Dr. Lincoln E. R Cummings, it’s quite unfortunate that Liberia as the oldest black African Republic after 176 years is still struggling to adjust to modern day reality and development.
“Listen to me very carefully. Anytime someone is waiting within God’s plan that person is in process. But, when it’s outside God’s plan, that person is in delay. When you look at Liberians spiritually we are in delay which is not the plan and purpose of God for us. This country has transitioned from process to delay and it should be the concern of every one of us” Dr. Cummings noted.
He believes that for Liberia to transition from delay to experiencing truth transformation and infrastructure development, the country should have a leader that understands leadership and has the fear of God.
The leadership development experts said that it’s very important that leadership, especially political leadership be given along with morality because with that the country will have a leader that will not be selfish and greedy.
“There is a quality of a good leader and I will outline some and you can tell me if we have it in our political leadership.
Leaders that lead with their hearts make people feel special and connect with people. Additionally, they listen to people and they create a safe environment. Also, they foster open dialogue with people and they are reasonable. They cherish values and they are wisely vulnerable. Answer me in your heart, do we have them in our political space” Dr. Cummings noted.
The Public Procurement specialist added that Liberia’s true economic growth and recovery is found in the leadership that they will have which has to do with electing leaders that are prepared to lead with hearts instead of emotional and feelings.
