Health authorities at the Hope for Women’s Health Center located at the A.B Tolbert Road has disclosed the uncomfortable spread of breast cancer of 28-year-old Liberian and single mother Ms. Rejoice Mechin Goffah, to other parts of her body.

According to National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime in the United States alone. 13% of the female population will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime in the United States alone.
In an exclusive interview with this paper Wednesday, Ms. Christelle Nchoue, an extended family to the victim said that on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, she was informed by the health authorities at the Hope for Women’s Health Center that the cancer is now affecting the lungs and another breast of her sister.
Ms. Nchoue indicated that for the past weeks, her sister has been complaining of severe pain in her cheek, breast, and back.
“Based upon the pain she was experiencing, we decided to tell the doctor who examined her I informed us that the cancer was gradually spreading and affecting her lungs and the other breast.”
“My sister is in severe pain, she can’t sleep. The doctor examined her after we told him that the pain was unbelievable. The doctor told me that the cancer has affected the other breast and her lungs. The doctor also instructed us to go to John F. Kennedy Hospital (JFK) and do TC Scan which cost US$150.0 and utrascience which cost US$40,” she stated.

28-year-old Ms. Rejoice Mechin Goffah recently launched an emergency passionate appeal to well-meaning Liberian organizations and government officials to help her seek medical treatment outside Liberia.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer by the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital and the Chinese Health Center in Paynesville, Congo Town.
Following the passionate call, an organization under the banner Helping Hands Humanity international organization, based in the United States and Operate in Liberia came to help the victim and provided some food assistance and a little financial contribution for her medical testing bill.
