-7yrs after the mysterious death of a teacher at its facility.
Late Thursday, September 14, 2023, Lucas Richard, the Executive Director of Administration at The Indigenous Mission TIM, Inc., a Creekside-supported missionary and an American national was accused by scores of residents of Cardwell, Bushrod, of attempting to murder his partner, Ms. Jessica Lloyd, after he reportedly slitted her neck.
But few hours after the incident, Creekside Church wrote via their official Facebook page, “Please pray for Creekside-supported missionaries Lucas and Lois Richard. Lucas was attacked and robbed in Liberia today. His phone and money were stolen and their vehicle damaged. Will add more details as we learn them. Thank you!”
However, as it is a known fact that the integrity of an individual or institution is determined by their track records, records have proven that amid the Creekside Church’s primary belief that “the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, and that God has provided it as our all-sufficient guide for salvation and the Christian life,” the recent incident appears as one of the few troubling situations their members/affiliates have been it has been involved with.
A BBC article authored by Ryan Osborne, published at 9:07 AM CDT, April 18, 2023 and updated 5:52 PM CDT, April 18, 2023, reveals that on April 19, 2016, Missy Bevers arrived at the Creekside Church in Midlothian around 4:30 a.m. to prepare for a fitness class she was teaching. Thirty minutes later, her students walked in and found her dead.
The article further details that investigators revealed that Bevers died of puncture wounds to her head and chest. However , it says Investigators have not said if they know what type of weapon was used in Bevers’ killing.
Like what many Liberians are concerned about if Lucas Richard actually attempted to murder his partner as reported by the witnesses (No Justice), It is said that the case of Missy Bevers spawned thousands of tips, but few solid leads, and still, seven years later, Bevers remains unsolved, according to Midlothian authorities.
Seven years after the mysterious death of Missy Bevers at Creekside Church facility, Lucas Richard, a Creekside-supported missionary has been accused by scores of residents of Cardwell, Bushrod Island, Liberia, of attempting to murder his partner, Ms. Jessica Lloyd.
Despite the fact that eyewitness said during the evening hours of Thursday, September 14, 2023, they suddenly saw Lucas Richard when he allegedly mercilessly slitted his partner’s neck, the Creekside-supported missionary denied the allegation, alleged that Jessica Lloyd was hit by a motorcyclist, even though she sustained severe injury on her neck.
In a recent video, Lucas Richard narrated a story that completely contradicts the witnesses’ allegation against him.
“She’s standing on the side of the road and I’m standing there doing the jack thing and next thing I know is a motorbike just came from nowhere and hits her,” he articulated.
Furthermore, he said, “The motorbike hit her, she fell backward, I think she even fell backward and hit the edge of the road because she had blood coming.”
Though he also denied their traditional marriage, authentic photos have disproved his statement, and further reveals a vivid understanding of how untruthful his words are, with regards to the incident.
Lucas Richard is a Missionary that’s serving in Liberia, West Africa, as the Executive Director of Administration at the Indigenous Mission TIM, Inc., which confounded with Alfred Varney.
