The Bong County detachment of the Liberia National Police (LNP) is investigating a thirty-seven year old man, Cruvice Hodge- in connection with the alleged murder of an eight year old boy in the Sugar Hill Community in Gbarnga.
According to police investigation, little Awalayah Korkollie was last seen with the alleged perpetrator prior to his demise.
Little Awalayah was discovered unconscious, lying in an unsafe septic tank on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was reported missing by family members on Wednesday, October 25.
A 15-member coroner jury setup to remove and physically examine the boy pronounced him dead and reported foul play.
The jury’s report furthered that the victim’s neck and hands were broken.
The alleged culprit is currently in police custody undergoing investigation.
Meanwhile, family members of the victim are demanding justice for the alleged murder of their son.
