The National chairman of Collation for Democratic Change Mulbah Morlu said the retreat will elevate an essential institutional platform to move forward in Unity, Strength, and Renewed Momentum.
According to chairman Morlu, the retreat will be there and will also provide the space for constructive dialogue that resolves internal differences, and to promote unity and solidarity within our ranks.
Mulbah Morlu declared that the CDC COMEBACK Retreat will commence from April 24th to 29th, 2024, in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, under the theme: TURNING SETBACKS INTO COMEBACK’.
However, the chairperson of Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) said, this ‘CDC COMEBACK Retreat 2024’ will provide partisans an opportunity to develop strategies that will serve as their roadmap towards the year 2029, which is already being widely considered as The CDC COMEBACK year.
The CDC Chairman Mulbah emphasizes that the retreat will not be a one-way street, but a people-driven platform that will value their input, suggestions, and ideas. Mulbah Morlu stated they recognize that the strength of their party lies in the diversity of perspectives and experiences within their ranks.
Chairman Morlu added that he is encouraging every CDCian to actively but constructively contribute to these pending discussions and deliberations that will shape their future.
Meanwhile, he said, focusing on developing strategies, they will also seek partisans’ valuable insights in formulating national policy responses that resonate with the aspirations and needs of the Liberian people.
He said By engaging in open and constructive dialogue, they can strengthen our party’s position and ensure that our actions are rooted in the interests of all citizens, and he added that he was confident that that retreat would not only strengthen our party but also invigorate the collective spirit and determination of our Blue Revolution.
“Together, we can overcome any obstacle and forge a path towards a brighter, more inclusive, and prosperous future for our nation” Mulbah Morlu declares.
CDC Chairman stresses that his office is in consultation with the CDC National Executive Committee, and has constituted various committees that will shoulder the responsibility of taking them to the retreat, and he asks every one of you to work with these committees to have a successful retreat.
Chairman Mulbah Morlu also extended his warmest gratitude to partisans at home and abroad for their defending and holding steady the battle lines of the party.
At the same time, in the coming months and years, there will certainly be attempts by unscrupulous elements of the Joseph Boakai government to engage in a multi-actor effort to actively hinder the unstoppable rise of the CDC. “They will try, but will never succeed so fear not.”
He claims the Coalition for Democratic Change CDC understands opposition lives more than any other political party.
“Be assured that not many understand opposition politics like we do.”
he said as they look ahead, they must analyze the political landscape, adapt to changing dynamics, and identify the most effective approaches to achieve their goals.
He stated by harnessing the collective wisdom and expertise of all partisans, and ensuring that their party remains at the forefront of positivity, we will most assuredly prevail. and as they prepare for the important season of institutional renewal, the period brings should them together, reinforcing the bonds that unite them as partisans of the Mighty Coalition for Democratic Change-CDC.
