World football governing body, FIFA has appointed Togolese match official, Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe as the central referee for next Friday’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying match between Nigeria and Liberia slated for the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The Day 1 clash between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Liberia’s Lone Star is expected to commence at 5pm Nigerian time, with Attiogbe to be assisted on the lines by fellow Togolease Komlan Domenyo Adiwotso, as assistant referee 1; and Limna Kabassima, as assistant referee 2; and Yelebodom Gado Bodjona, as fourth official.

FIFA has also appointed a Ghanaian, Munkaila Nassam Adam, as match commissioner for the Super Eagles, Lone Star clash, while a Moroccan, Abdellah El Achiri, will serve as referee assessor.

The match officials are poised to arrive in Lagos on Wednesday, while the Liberian delegation is expected to arrive in Nigeria on Tuesday of next week.
