-Due to health complications
Liberia’s Finance Minister, Boima Kamara, has officially resigned from his position, citing health concerns as the reason for his departure.
Sources close to the situation have suggested that Kamara’s resignation may have been influenced by his deteriorating health condition, leading to a lack of confidence in his ability to effectively manage the Finance Ministry.
This marks the second resignation from President Boakai’s administration within the first six months, following the departure of NSA Boss Rtd. Major General Prince C. Johnson III as National Defense Minister. Johnson resigned amidst protests from women believed to be wives and dependents of soldiers.
Despite these developments, there has been no official confirmation or announcement from the Executive Mansion regarding Kamara’s resignation.
