-The mystery behind Sarah David’s ordeal
Sarah David, a 33-year-old single Liberian mother of four, is urgently seeking financial aid as she grapples with a severe third-degree burn of mysterious origins.
In an interview with Opa Weeks of the Liberia News Agency on Sunday, March 3, 2024, Sarah described the puzzling circumstances surrounding her traumatizing burn injury.
Recalling the day of the incident in June 2023, Sarah explained that she was preparing breakfast when she suddenly blacked out, awakening later in a local medical facility with no memory of how the burn occurred. “I got burned but I don’t know how it happened.
Despite undergoing initial treatment, the cause of the burn remains unknown, leaving Sarah in a critical condition and struggling to care for herself and her children.
Sarah’s quest for proper medical care led her to the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital, where she was advised to seek advanced treatment at the 14 Military Hospital. However, due to financial constraints, she has been unable to access the specialized care she urgently needs.
Adding to her challenges, Sarah revealed that she has faced physical abuse from her estranged husband, who callously abandoned her and their children, leaving behind only $50 USD monthly for their support. “He said he doesn’t want a woman like me.”
Sarah’s daughter sadly recounted her father’s rejection of her mother and disinterest in their family’s well-being.
