Monrovia, Liberia – Following the recent wave of secret killings across Liberia, award winning Liberian female activist, Ne-Suah Beyan-Livingstone, believes that all Liberians’ lives are not safe, thus encouraging the need for personal protection.

In an interview with this paper on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, madam Livingstone said the repeated occurrences of secret killings in the country is scaring, noting that it proves how Liberians are vulnerable to any form of threat.

“It could be you, it could be me, it could even be some of our law enforcement officers, it could even get closer to my door, or the president’s door, it could even get to any other person’s door, so what it means to us is that no one is safe”, she said.

With specific emphasis on the mysterious killings of young kids across the country of late, Madam Livingstone encouraged parents to have more watch over their children, as she said the country is insecure for everyone.

On the other hand, she blamed the justice system and security forces for the rapid increase in the recent nature of murder in Liberia, referencing their inability to perform their duties as a paramount reason.

The female activist said the high level of reluctance of the Justice system in ensuring that justice is served for victims of these terrible acts, gives ground to the murderers or who be perpetrators.

She called on the government to ensure that its citizens are protected and that justice is served to the families of individuals who were victimized by secret killings, adding that in the absence of war, the country should be protected.
