Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Lofa County detachment arrest a 36-year-old Fulah Man with marijuana.
The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Lofa County detachment on Thursday, February 29, 2024, arrested a FULAH MAN with a huge quantity of marijuana in SAKONADOU TOWN.
According to the LDEA commander assigned in Lofa County, Special Agent Kpehe Lomax, the suspect Musa Sow, tribe ( FULAH FROM GUINEA) Age (36) was arrested in SAKONADOU TOWN with the Substance while he was on his way from Guinea.
The suspect Musa Sow admitted to the crime and pleaded for mercy.
According to him, he normally takes in Marijuana to make his spirit active for his job.
” I can buy it for myself to smoke, and not for selling business, so please forgive me, ” the suspect said.
He told newsmen that his occupation is making Rings for weddings, and other minor repairs for Gold chains and watches in Guinea and Liberia.
Suspect Musa Sow is traditionally married in Liberia with two kids.
” I regret the situation, and I promise that this will not be repeated if I’m pardoned,” he said.
LDEA County Commander Special Agent Kpehe Lomax told newsmen that the suspect would be charged and sent to court.
The street value of Marijuana is more than 5000 LD.
Meanwhile, the LDEA Commander Special Agent Kpehe Lomax is again calling on the Administration of President Joseph Nyumah Boakai to support the entity with more logistics to combat drug users, sellers, and traffickers.
