Monrovia- The Liberia Football Association has launched the 2024 National Beach Soccer League with the games taking place at the National Unification Part in PHP Community.

The 2024 National Beach Soccer League, is the second edition under the auspices of the Liberia Football Association ( LFA) and the competition is witnessing six clubs contesting 

the trophy plus the cash prize.

During the launch on Saturday, May 4, 2024, the Acting President of the country’s football governing body, Sekou Konneh said the six clubs participating in the month-long competition are all prepared to face each other.

He called on the participating clubs to do their best in promoting beach Soccer and avoid a break in the national league.

He added, “We have huge potential here and if all clubs give their best, Liberia will be a strong force in Beach Soccer in Africa.

He thanked the beach Soccer committee for their commitment to the improvement of beach soccer in the country.

Also speaking, the Coordinator of Beach Soccer, Lee Chea expressed excitement over the commencement of the league and believes that the 2024 league would see a transformed sport.

“We have been hungry for this launch for the past months and we see a different league with this second edition” he added.

Meanwhile, the six clubs competing are Soccer Ambassador BSC, Sinkor BSC, New Generation BSC, Barnesville Ralders, 24th Street Defender, and Black Man Warrior BSC.

According to the Beach Soccer Committee, the games will be played every weekend.
