Monrovia- Liberian advocate Fenny Taylor-Diggs has been appointed as a fellow in the prestigious New Impact West Africa Fellowship
This fellowship, which gathers innovative leaders from the region, aims to address pressing societal issues through collaboration and impactful action.
Madam Diggs, who is the Founder of Urmonae Health Liberia, was appointed
among ten(10) of the over 1116 applicants
from West Africa who applied to be a fellow of the institution. Those appointed were from a poll of countries that include Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Mail, The Gambia, Niger, Togo, Senegal, and Mauritania.
Known for her dedication to improving the menstrual economy and health in Liberia, she expressed her excitement about joining the fellowship. “I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been appointed as an Aspen Institute New Voices Fellowship Impact West Africa Fellow.
This opportunity to collaborate with passionate changemakers across the region is truly exciting,” she told journalists at a press conference. The Impact West Africa Fellowship creates a platform where innovation meets action. Taylor is committed to leveraging her skills and experience to tackle some of the most significant challenges in her field.
She aims to drive transformative change that will contribute to more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable solutions for communities across West Africa. “As a fellow, I look forward to sharing insights, learning from others, and driving transformative change that will contribute to more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable solutions for communities across West Africa,” Taylor added.
The Aspen Institute New Voices Fellowship is renowned for fostering global innovators who bring meaningful change to their communities.
