Monrovia, Liberia – Liberian pageant Model and Miss Liberia 1st runner-up Kindness Wilson is on the run following an arrest warrant for her (Kindness Wilson), following allegations of assault, menacing, and disorderly conduct.

Presiding Stipendiary Magistrate L. Ben Barco ordered Wilson’s immediate arrest on Tuesday, directing all security agencies—including the Liberia National Police (LNP), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Executive Protection Service (EPS), and Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL)—to apprehend her.

Once detained, Wilson must be presented before the court for prosecution. If arrested after working hours, she will be held at the nearest police station until the next court session.

What Led to the Warrant?

The charges originate from a physical altercation on March 31, 2025, at Stella Maris Polytechnic University, where Wilson, who recently represented Liberia at Miss Global Queen, assaulted fellow student Miss Cassell.

The conflict began after Cassell shared a viral video of Wilson’s controversial performance at the Miss Global Queen pageant in Thailand. During the event, Wilson sang a different song while introducing it as Liberia’s national anthem. This flared widespread online ridicule.

A now-viral clip shows Wilson confronting Cassell on campus, demanding to know why she shared the video. The altercation escalated when Wilson slapped Cassell, though full details remain unclear as the video cuts off shortly after.

The court’s writ reads: “That, on Monday, March 31, 2025, at about 2 0O PM on Stella Marie Poly Tech Campus. 1st Sreet Sinkor, City of Monrovia, Montserrado County Republic of Liberia due to some

arguments and/or altercation between the students while on Campus the within named Defendant herein purposely and intentionally slapped Private Proscutrx’s face, and beat her, thereby causing the said Private Prosecutrix to sustain severe bodily pains, and

annoyance.

It continues, “This act of the Defendant being unlautu wicked legal and intentional is in violation of

Sections 1421. 1425 & 173 of the New Penal Law of Liberia there and then the crimes herein Defendant did do and commit.” Late Monday, Wilson issued a public apology to Cassell and Liberians, calling her actions “inappropriate” and seeking to rebuild her image. Meanwhile, Stella Maris Polytechnic University has yet to release an official statement on the incident.
