Sharda University in India Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia and Amos C. Sawyer College Dean, Prof. Dr. Josephus M Gray on Wednesday held Interactive Meeting with distinguished Liberian students and graduates at ShardaUniversity in Knowledge Park, New, India. During the meeting, the students praised the high academic standards of quality teaching and learning at the institution.
The meeting was informative and uniquely held at the Engineering College. During the meeting, Dr. Gray lauded the students and graduates for high academic performance and good moral behaviour and discipline. He described the students as a true ambassadors of Liberia in India and encouraged them to turn challenges into opportunity and urged them to always remain unwavering in promoting Liberia’s image abroad, and should consistently demonstrate responsible behaviour and enthusiasm to the classroom.
Dr. Gray informed the students that he was very proud and touched when the President of International Relations of ShardaGroup of Companies and Sharda University, Dr. Ashok Daryaniinformed him that Liberian student performances are exemplaries. He praised them for the positive attitudes and good academic performance in their respective disciplines.
Dr. Gray encourages the students to take advantage of theopportunity of enrolling at Sharda University and pay great attention to research and their various Majors. He admonished them to consistently demonstrate enthusiasm for learning. Dr. Gray further reminded the students that quality education opens doors and mind and serves as a source for national development. ” Your have the greater responsibility to protect the our country’s image abroad, particularly in India.”
Speaking separately, the distinguished students described teaching and learning at Sharda University in India as ” quality and professional”, and expressed appreciation about the method of teaching, students evaluation, and the positive atmosphere in the various classrooms.
According to them, the products by the professors are consistently outstanding and have a great impact on their education. Currently, there are more than 60 Liberian students attending at Sharda University in India while the school enrolled the highest number of foreign students in India, with students from about 96 countries across the world.
