Liberia’s Upper League  club, Senior Female team, has embarked on a week-long pre-season camp in Guinea. 

This strategic move aims to enhance their preparedness for the upcoming league season by exposing the team to high-level competition. While in Guinea, the club will participate in an international tournament featuring teams from teams from host, Guinea , Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Mali.

This tournament offers a fantastic opportunity for Senior Female Professionals to gauge their performance against top teams from neighboring countries, fostering regional camaraderie and competitive spirit.

According to the club president, Stages Glassco, playing against diverse teams will provide the players with valuable experience and insights into different playing styles and strategies.

Said Glassco, “The pre-season camp and tournament participation will reflect the club’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, setting a strong foundation for success in the new league season.”

Glassco, however, extended appreciation to FC FassellCEO, Cassell Kuoh and Chris Holding CEO, Chris Geeplay Weah for the financial contributions towards Liberian youth especially young women who are striding to achieve. 

“Honestly, I am grateful to Cassell Kuoh and Chris Geeply Weah for the financial support for the girls to be in Guinea for this tournament. This demonstrates their interests in women’s football and the chance to provide the necessary space for young Liberians especially girls to showcase their talents.” He added, “We can assure everyone who supported us financially and morally that we are not in this tournament to participate but to compete with the trophy.”
