-Following Bility’s Resignation

Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberty Party has taken significant steps toward reconciliation and unity following the recent resignation of Chairman Musa Bility. In a statement released by the party’s Political Leader, Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, the party expressed its commitment to restoring harmony among its members.
A few weeks ago, the Liberty Party constituted a joint committee tasked with facilitating a reconciliation process aimed at addressing internal differences and fostering a sense of oneness within the party. During this critical period, Chairman Bility decided to step down from both his position as Chairman and as a member of the party.
The Executive Committee, now led by Acting Chair Rugie Barry, has officially acknowledged Bility’s resignation and expressed gratitude for his service to the party. “We thank Chairman Musa Bility for his contributions and dedication to the Liberty Party,” Barry stated.
As the party moves forward, Acting Chair Barry will continue to collaborate with the joint committee to finalize the reconciliation process. This effort will be conducted in close coordination and consultation with Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, ensuring that all voices within the party are heard.
In her statement, Senator Karnga-Lawrence reassured partisans, supporters, and well-wishers of the Liberty Party that updates regarding the reconciliation process will be communicated in the coming days. “We are committed to concluding this process effectively, and we appreciate the hard work of the joint committee,” she said.
