Amidst corruption allegations level against the President of the Liberia Scrap Dealers Association (LSDA), Mr. Ayouba Kamara by the President of another group, the Liberia Scrap Buyers Association (LSBA) Kalifala Sanoe Kalifala has failed to provide any document to back his allegations and proof of his membership status.
Sanoe who serves as president of LSBA has been in procedure error, as he continues to rain wild cat allegations against the President of another group “LSDA” which he is not a member of, with no proof of his allegations.
He has been parading with contradictive statements claiming to be a current member of LSDA while at the same time serving as President of the LSBA but failed to provide any documentation to back his current LSDA membership status.
“I have my LSDA ID card, but it’s an old ID card, I don’t have the current one because LSDA is saying that I am not a member,” the LSBA President clarified. An investigation conducted by an Independent Journalist has shown that Sanoe is no longer a member of LSDA and has no audacity to question the entity’s activities.
His old ID card was obtained when he was then a member of LSDA before breaking away and establishing his entity ” LSBA” with similar functions. Also, Kalifala has failed to prove his claim that the LSDA President is siding with foreign Scrap Dealers. “I don’t have any document to show now, but I can tell you that Ayouba has connived with foreign Scrap dealers, ” he told Journalists.
Meanwhile, it was made clear by the majority of the Executive Members of LSDA in an emergency meeting held on July 4, 2024, that Kalifala Sanoe and his LSBA members are not part of LSDA. They concluded that LSDA members had formed a new association and thus had no standing to interfere with LSDA affairs.
At the same, Sanoe praises Kamara for his significant efforts made toward the progress of LSDA so far, saying that it’s under Kamara’s leadership that LSDA can boast of having an office space. ” I can say clearly to you that Ayouba is the only Man who has provided the LSDA office space to transact union activities,” the LSBA President has confirmed.
Even though Sanoe is the President of his LSBA, but has been very inquisitive in LSDA affairs rather than carrying out his entity activities as he engages in poor propaganda and blackmailing against the LSDA boss.
