Her killers Unknown
Amanda Nebo, a personnel of the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) Police, was recently stabbed to death by unknown men at Barnesville Junction while on her way from town.
It is reported that the incident occurred late Saturday, April 14, 2024, after she was attacked by individuals who were believed to be robbers when she reneged on allowing them to have her belongings.
In a release dated April 14, 2024, the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) confirmed that Officer Nebo, age 36 was pronounced dead by health workers upon arrival at the John F. Kennedy Hospital.
“She was known for her passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her duties and these cherished attributes will surely be missed by her colleagues at the Monrovia City Corporation,” the release said.
The Monrovia City Corporation also extended its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Officer Amanda Nebo as they mourn this profound loss.
In collaboration with the Monrovia City Police, the release says the Liberia National Police is actively working to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for such atrocious crime.
“The Monrovia City Corporation is deeply saddened by the loss of Officer Amanda Nebo, a dedicated member of the Monrovia City Police. Officer Nebo was Saturday night allegedly stabbed to death at the Barnesville Junction by unknown men believed to be robbers,” the release confirmed.
The Monrovia City Corporation assures the family and friends of its fullest commitment to ensure that those responsible for Officer Nebo’s tragic death face the full force of the law and are brought to justice.
