When did SUP become a sub-branch of the Liberia Immigration Service? The University of Liberia campus is extremely filthy—no functional bathrooms, no buses, no chairs—and female students are forced to use the bushes for open defecation. Yet, SUP is careless about the rot within their own environment that is affecting students. Instead, they are cowardly asking a man to justify his nationality. How does Mustapha Raji justifying his citizenship fix the broken chairs and dilapidated bathrooms on campus? For over 20 years, Raji had been in sports administration in Liberia, so only in 2025 these commercial bandits don’t know his nationality? 2026 is the LFA elections; therefore, all these anti-productive actions are campaign warmups. SUP has neglected the masses’ struggle. They are now a footballing movement. What a mockery of consciousness!

Fellow Liberians, the SUP you knew yesterday has been infiltrated. It now operates as a breeding ground and student auxiliary of Boakai’s Unity Party. They will never attack the regime directly. Their veterans are serving at the will and pleasure of Mr. Boakai; therefore, the former student group must still be at bay, romancing the regime’s ineptitude and corruptibility. SUP is so compromised that they’re looking for unnecessary debates off campus when the regime has two speakers and the constitution has been bastardized over 187 times. The recent attack on Raji is a commercial smear campaign—one we’ve exposed and defeated before it even began.

In this piece, I will use legal statutes to prove that Raji is a Liberian citizen and expose the insensitivity and reckless incompetence of these commercial bandits in khaki—individuals who have allowed themselves to be used as political domestic terrorists for hire.

Under Liberian nationality law, citizenship is primarily based on descent (jus sanguinis) and is governed by the Liberian Constitution of 1986 and the Aliens and Nationality Law.

Key Legal Evidence:

  1. Article 28 of the Liberian Constitution (1986) states that a person is a citizen of Liberia if at least one of their parents was a citizen at the time of their birth. Mustapha Raji’s mother is a Vai woman from Grand Cape Mount County. He was born in Cape Mount to a Liberian mother, which qualifies him by law as a legitimate Liberian citizen.
  2. Article 27(b) of the Liberian Constitution (1986) states: “In order to preserve, foster and maintain the positive Liberian culture, values, and character, only persons who are Negroes or of Negro descent shall qualify by birth or by naturalization to be citizens of Liberia.”

Raji’s father is a Nigerian who migrated to Liberia years ago. Nigerians are of Negro descent. From a Pan-Africanist perspective, which promotes regional brotherhood, Raji is eligible for Liberian citizenship under our laws—even without his mother being Liberian. But he has both advantages: a Liberian mother and birth in Liberia to parents of Negro descent. There is no contention here.

  1. Citizenship by Birth (Section 20.1 of the Aliens and Nationality Law):
A person is a Liberian citizen at birth if either parent was a Liberian citizen at the time of their birth—provided the person is of Negro descent.
Raji was born in Liberia. He is a son of Cape Mount. The nationality law is clear.

Fellow Liberians, Mustapha Raji is a Liberian citizen by birth. His mother was a Liberian citizen at the time of his birth, and his Nigerian father is of Negro descent. This is how we end the nationality debate.

You see, these individuals are intellectual amputees who have refused to elucidate and understand the complexity of these legal statutes before allowing themselves to be used. You cannot gangsterize knowledge, facts, and reality. Wearing khaki, putting rocks in bags, sweating profusely, shouting senselessly, and reducing oneself to hooliganism and vandalism is not vanguardism. Yesterday’s SUP would never have lowered itself to such disgraceful posturing.

Four SUP militants—Stephen Brown, Momo Buttel, Christian Bryant, and Obadiah Jallah—who staged the terrorist attack at the LFA Headquarters are currently charged with burglary, attempted murder, and aggravated assault. Boakai’s Unity Party-backed SUP is in court, answering to these crimes. This generation is a disgrace to itself. No amount of violence can change the reality that SUP is now a shadow of herself, ideologically empty, recklessly intolerant just waiting to participate in a pay-to-play.

Note: In a matter of days, we are coming for the man sponsoring these commercial bandits. Hell will open on him. Brace yourself!
