Executive Mansion, Monrovia-President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, held his inaugural meeting with the National Youth Advisory Council, a newly appointed body dedicated to representing and advancing the interests of Liberia’s youth. 

During the meeting, the President congratulated the Council members on their appointments and emphasized their vital role in shaping the nation’s future.

Acknowledging the Council members’ prior contributions to national service, President Boakai commended their dedication and commitment. He challenged them to take immediate action by crafting impactful plans to uplift and empower Liberia’s youth, urging them to approach their responsibilities with focus, discipline, and respect for the significance of their positions.

President Boakai highlighted the Advisory Council’s potential to serve as a pivotal platform for youth engagement in policymaking and community development. He encouraged members to embrace their roles with empathy, humility, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young Liberians.
