The Chairperson of the Bong Legislative Caucus, Senator Prince Moye has dismissed claims of undermining and humiliation brought against him by Representative Marvin Cole.

It can be recalled on Tuesday, February 27, 2024; Representative Marvin Cole announced his resignation from the Bong County Legislative Caucus, accusing Senator Moye of undermining him in the caucus.

Rep Cole further accused Moye of orchestrating the recent student’s protest at the Bong County Technical College; stating he does not feel secured working with the Senator in the caucus.

In a rebuttal press conference on Wednesday, Senator Prince Moye stated that the district #3 lawmaker is escaping prosecution for alleged crimes he has committed in the county and is cleverly scapegoating him.

He described Rep Cole’s resignation from the caucus as a mere joke.
Meanwhile, the Bong Legislative Caucus Chair has committed his leadership to commissioning audits of the allocation of US$900,000 to BCTC and US$500,000 to C.B Dunbar Maternity Hospital during the 2023 fiscal year.

He added that the caucus’ decision to effect accountability in Bong will not be hindered by Rep. Cole.
