The Senate of Liberia today confirmed Retired Major/General Prince Charles Johnson as the new Defense Minister of the Republic of Liberia.
Minister Johnson has previously led the Armed Forces of Liberia as its Chief of Staff for six exceptional years and now holds responsibility as the Defense Minister of the country.
He is the second Chief of Staff to occupy the Defense Minister post in recent years after former Chief of Staff and Defense Minister Daniel D. Ziankahn, Jr.
