-Calls Claims Malicious Fabrication

Monrovia, Liberia – United Commodities Incorporated (UCI) has issued a strong denial in response to social media reports alleging that the company is involved in the rebagging and distribution of contaminated rice in Liberia.
In an official press release, UCI management condemned the claims as “criminally and maliciously masterminded,” asserting that the circulating photos and information are falsehoods designed to tarnish the company’s reputation.
UCI emphasized that it has never engaged in, nor would it ever consider, unethical business practices that could jeopardize public health. The company highlighted that its warehouses remain open to customers during working hours without restriction, demonstrating transparency in its operations.
“Since our establishment in 2009, UCI has been committed to supplying only high-quality rice to the Liberian market,” the statement read. “We have no history of selling substandard or unsafe products.”
The company proudly stated that its rice varieties are among the best available, with consistent demand driven by quality and taste. UCI further clarified that all its business activities—including rice importation, shipment handling, storage, and distribution—are conducted in compliance with industry best practices and under the oversight of the Liberian government.
UCI urged the public to disregard the allegations, labeling them as a deliberate smear campaign by unscrupulous individuals seeking to damage the company’s credibility.
The management concluded by reaffirming its dedication to integrity and consumer safety, thanking customers for their continued trust.
