-NEC preliminary results show- as Cummings sits at fourth place

Following the conduct of the October 10, 2023, general elections- official preliminary results from the National Elections Commission (NEC) put the Standard Bearer of the opposition Unity Party ahead of the 19 other candidates at 13 polling Places in Bomi county, and 3 polling places in Montserrado County.
At the 13 polling Places in Bomi county- UP Joseph Nyuma Boakai accumulated 2,543 votes, while CDC George Weah accumulated 1134 votes. APPLETON, JR, EDWARD W. (GDM) sits at the third spot while ANC Alexander Cummings secured the fourth spot with 32 votes. At these polling places, the National Elections Commission (NEC) says there were a total of 3973 Valid Votes and 152 invalid votes.
Accordingly, at the 3 polling places in Montserrado county- UP Joseph Boakai sealed 576 votes, while CDC George Weah obtained 547 votes and ANC Alexander Cummings accumulated 39 votes. At the different polling places, NEC confirms that there were 1211-Valid Votes and 32 Invalid Votes.
The results announced by the National Elections Commission (NEC) late Wednesday, October 11, 2023- is about 0.27% of the total number of votes and 16 of 5,890 Polling Places across the country.
So far, NEC reports a total of 3,119 (60.17%) votes for UP JOSEPH N. Boakai at the 13 polling places in Bomi and the 3 polling places in Montserrado.
Also, CDC George Weah has a total of 1,681 (32.43%) votes at the 13 polling places in Bomi and the 3 polling places in Montserrado.
Third among them so far is APPLETON JR, EDWARD W. (GDM). He has a total of 92 (1.77%) votes at the 13 polling places in Bomi and the 3 polling places in Montserrado.
Accordingly- CPP CUMMINGS ALEXANDER has so far gotten 71 (1.37%) votes at the 13 polling places in Bomi and the 3 polling places in Montserrado.
