The Chief Patron and Founder of the Jewel Star Fish (JSF), Liberian Vice President Chief Jewel Howard-Taylor has declared that through the JSF, she envisages changing lives of girls and making a difference in the lives of girls in Liberia.

In October 2018, former Ghanaian First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings,Madam Rawlings officially launched the JSF, to look out for the future of underprivileged children especially girls in Liberia.

The Jewel Starfish Foundation seeks to provide scholarships for girls’ education and to cater to victims of gender-based violence across Liberia.

VP Howard-Taylor, on Sunday, wrote on her Instagram page expressing gratitude to Board members of the Foundation, its sponsors and donors, for their assistance, which she said in spite of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, made the year a successful one.

“To God alone be all Glory for ALL he continues to do thru this Foundation as we- change lives of girls and make a difference one girl at a time,” VP Howard-Taylor wrote.

She continued: “I eagerly look forward to working with the members of the Board to make the 2021/22 school year a success. I remain grateful. May God replenish your sacrificial gifts 100 fold.”
