– As Armah and Lynda Foundation donates assorted food items
Liberian Humanitarian group, Armah and Lynda Foundation on Saturday donated several assorted food items, including rice, oil and can food, valued nearly Forty-Five Thousand Liberian Dollars to the Mother Victoria Thomas Orphanage in the New Matadi Community, with a challenged to the orphans to take their education seriously.
Making the presentation Saturday at a colorful program, on 18 December 2021, the Executive Director of the Armah and Lynda Foundation, Emmanuel Divine Kpoto said, the assorted food donation was part of an annual event of the Foundation intended to put smiles on the faces of orphan children at the Mother Victoria Thomas Orphan Home in the New Matadi Community during this 2021 Christmas and New Year Seasons. Mr. Divine Kpoto said, the food donation was made possible through the help of some friends mainly in the United States because they care about the lives of every Liberian. However, the Executive Director said the 2021 Celebratory Season donation is sorely intended to assist the dozens of children at Mother Victoria Thomas Orphan Home.
Mr. Kpoto, accompanied by two Executive Members, Vivian Gaye Lansanah and Karvin B. Roberts on behalf of Foundation promised to always help to support the orphan home as a mark of demonstration of the love and care by Mr. Armah D. Lansanah, who also grew up in the community as a child and is always passionate about giving back to his community to improve the lives of less fortunate and destitute Liberian Children.
Challenging the orphans of the Mother Victoria Thomas Home, Executive Member, Vivian Gate Lansanah made a passionate plea to the orphans to always take their education seriously no matter the current difficult circumstances, adding that, education was the surest way of securing a brighter and prosper future in a world full with untold challenges.
Receiving the assorted food items, the founder of the orphan home, Mother Victoria Thomas thanked Mr. and Mrs. Armah D. Lansanah for the gesture, adding that, she was not surprise, because Armah continues year after year to assist the home even in midst of difficult times. Mother Victoria said the gesture was timely and offered praises to God to continue to bless the works of the hands of Armah and Lydia and the Foundation that they will continue to cater to the needs of not only the children at her orphan home but other orphan homes across Liberia.
In April of 2021, the Liberian Charity, Armah and Lynda Foundation donated a huge consignment of assorted medication, clothing, and food items, to the founder of the Mother Victoria Thomas Orphanage Home, valued nearly seven thousand United States dollars.
