Liberian vice president Chief Jewel Howard-Taylor has extended warm felicitations to the peoples and government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), ahead of the 100th centennial celebration of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Founded in 1921, mainly by Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao, the Communist Party of China is also known as the Chinese Communist Party. It is the founding and sole governing political party of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The CCP leads eight other legally permitted subordinate minor parties together as the United Front.
July 1, 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and will be a major milestone in the history of the People’s Republic of China,” said VP Taylor in a special statement, adding, “On this occasion, on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Liberia, I would like to extend my brotherly and heartfelt congratulations!”
VP Taylor expressed the hope that the PRC and her people will continue to achieve greater progress and prosperity, and she indicated that she looks forward to the further strengthening of the friendship and cooperation between Liberia and China, and the peoples of both countries.
